Olaf Scholz and Robert Habeck visit facilities in Germany
The two come to a kindergarten.
They look at everything and then Scholz says to the kindergarten teacher: Everything is really nice here, do you have another wish?
Says the kindergarten teacher: Yes, it would be nice to have a paddling pool for the children in the summer if climate change continues like this.
Says Scholz: No, unfortunately that's not possible, we have a budget freeze.
But there might still be a few balls or plush toys in there...
Then you visit a prison.
At the end, Scholz asks the prison director whether he could use a swimming pool for the prisoners.
The director looked puzzled, quickly replied in the affirmative and politely thanked him.
Later in the car, Habeck speaks to Scholz, completely amazed:
Tell me Olaf, you generously approved a pool for the prison, but there isn't even a paddling pool for the kindergarten?
Says Scholz:
Pay attention Robert: If all this shit blows up in our faces, do you seriously believe that we will go to kindergarten??? 😁
