Interesting in this context: many (I possibly also back then) speak of indigenous Germans, so ultimately no genetically Germans.

I just “stumbled upon” the term “innovations”. Because exactly the post above inspired me to do even more besides the elaboration 😉Novation = Under novation (Latin novatio, (renewal) innovation, renewal contract) one understands in German law of obligations the cancellation of an existing obligation by creating a new obligation. Their practical importance is now of little importance. [Exactly ... and pigs can fly] The law of obligations is - in contrast to property law - not subject to any legal type compulsory, so there is no numerus clausus of permissible legal transactions. Therefore, any contractual obligation can be agreed, so that new types of contract (contract sui generis) may arise, provided that they are in accordance with the legal system. Novation is not regulated in the BGB, but it is permissible because of this contractual freedom of contract. As the Latin term suggests, novation was already known in Roman law. The novation played a much bigger role in Rome than it does today, because the Roman view did not allow a liability to be subsequently changed or for one of the persons involved in it to be exchanged. [1] The basis for a novation had to be an existing liability (Latin obligatio). [2] In the institutions of Gaius, novation was regarded as one of the five ways of canceling a liability. The role of novation was significant because subsequent changes to an obligation, be it in content or through a change in the person of the creditor (assignment) or the debtor (assumption of debt), were only possible through novation. Because of the often difficult determination of this willingness to renew debt, it was valid since the year 533 with Justinian I that a novation should only occur if it was expressly wanted. Therefore, novation and treaty amendments coexist in today's German law. The term novation appeared in Germany for the first time in the late Middle Ages, when a legal dispute with a debtor delegation (exchange of debtor) had to be decided in 1501/02. [3] In the case of Rink / Diepach (1503) the plaintiff stated that the defendant had become a debtor by changing the obligation (Latin delegationem etiam animo novandi obligationem). Innovations = innovation (literally "innovation" or "renewal"; from Latin innovare "renew") derived) is used in everyday language in the sense of new ideas and inventions and for their economic implementation. In the narrower sense, innovations only result from ideas when they are implemented in new products, services or processes that are actually successfully applied and penetrate the market (diffusion). [1] The complementary process to innovation is exnovation, the abolition of no longer effective or desired processes, products or technologies. Excerpts from Wiki-dings-bumbs ... yeah ... colloquial language and so ... whoever believes it will not be "blessed" but "blessed". Soul = the origin of this on mhd. sēle, ahd. sē (u) la declining noun is unclear; The old Germanic myth of water as a refuge for the souls of the dead and the unborn suggests a relationship with the word → lake. blissful = this adjective, which is strongly influenced by Christianity, can be found in mhd. slec on ahd. sālīg "blessed" to lead back to an education to ahd. * sāli "happy, good", got. sēls "benevolent", whose origin in idg. * sēl– “cheap, good mood”. When it comes to this topic, you end up with the Carolingians and you no longer understand your own word. 😉
