How the anti-sexual morality was established in Europe and why this affects us ALL (men and women) deeply!

About the witch hunt - and why it is still not understood and at the same time soooo important. One might think that such an old topic no longer has any meaning for our life today. Some even say that everything has already been said about the witch hunt. But neither one nor the other is true.

It is more likely that the witch hunt was one of the most serious social catastrophes of the last 1000 years, with results from which we - without realizing it - still suffer today.

Many thanks for the diverse factual and personal support goes to Prof. Bernd Senf from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, who invited me to the FHW for 10 years on the subject of witch hunt as part of his lectures on the work of Wilhelm Reich. Ottmar Lattorf from Cologne

'It wasn't witches who burned.

They were women, women who were

Too beautiful
Too exaggerated
Had too much water in the well (yeah, seriously)
Who had a birthmark?
Women who were too qualified with herbal medicine
Too loud
Too quiet
Too much red in her hair
Women who had a strong connection with nature
Women who danced
Women who sang
or whatever, really.
The sisters testified and turned against each other as their babies were held under ice.
Children were tortured to confess their experiences with '' witches '' by forging them in ovens.
Women were kept underwater and if they floated they were guilty and executed; if they were sunk and drowned they were innocent.
Women were thrown off cliffs.
Women were placed in deep holes in the ground.
The beginning of this madness was years of famine, war between religions and a lot of fear. The churches said that witches, demons and the devil existed and women were nothing but trouble. As we see ourselves today, a scapegoat often arises. Everything associated with a woman was feared, especially her sexuality. It has been labeled as dark and dangerous and was the core of the witch trials around the world. Why am I writing this? Because I think the use of words is important, especially as we do the work to surface those murky, repressed and forgotten stories to pull. Because it is important to know our history when we are building the new world. When we do the healing work of our lineages and as women. To give a voice to the women who were slaughtered, to give them reparation and a chance for peace, it wasn't witches who burned.
They were women
