At 17 euros it is not expensive and the reviews on Amazon are promising. The manufacturer promises 1500 laundry loads, which can save detergent. Not only that, the plastic waste in the packaging itself also saves.
After a few washes you can say: the laundry becomes clean and soft. We only tried it with non-critical items of laundry and, above all, not with white laundry.
Like we are keen to experiment, we have already tried chestnuts and ivy, but the success was only moderate.
If the product is good, then we've saved a lot of money. Otherwise we just exchange it.
When choosing the washing ball, care was taken that no magnets were used. These can damage the washing machine, although magnets are able to break up limescale.
Update:
So, we have now washed about 50 machines with this ball, different temperatures. The laundry was always soft and smelled neutral. Of course you should consider one thing: dry the ball at least once a week, put it in the sun, etc.
Some reviews mentioned that the performance deteriorates after 2 washes. We couldn't confirm that.
We'll buy a second ball. Even if it can only last 2 washes, it is a win for the environment.
Unfortunately, Zah's ball is not for sale on Amazon at the moment. In my circle of acquaintances, many have now bought such a washing ball and are extremely satisfied.

The washing ball is great, my laundry is clean and pleasantly soft, without any fabric softener, etc. Since there is no residue from the washing powder or fabric softener, the washing machine stays clean. It couldn't be better. 👍👍
I also have to say that I am delighted after I did my laundry with it yesterday. It is definitely worth it and the laundry is really more comfortable to wear than with detergent residues that inevitably remain.
